Dana Air, one of Nigeria’s leading airlines, has been taking passenger reservations using the Radixx Air Passenger Services System (PSS) since the system went live in July of this year.  The implementation of the Radixx Air PSS has enabled Dana Air to offer additional functionality to its passengers using Radixx’ feature rich platform which includes a Call Center Application, Internet Booking Engine, Departure Control System and more.

Payment options offered by airlines to their passengers continue to evolve and present a unique opportunity for airlines to expand their sales, especially those operating in cash-oriented markets.  Dana Air has enhanced its booking process, especially when it comes to online bookings, by teaming up with Radixx to take advantage of the flexibility of payment and settlement offered in the Radixx Air PSS.  The ability to “book and hold” on the airline’s Web site, which offers passengers the facility to reserve a ticket and pay for it at any of the airline’s designated locations, gives passengers easier access to book Dana’s flights. 

Radixx and Dana Air are working with three payment gateways within Nigeria to offer passengers with any Nigerian-based debit and/or credit card the ability to pay online.  Additionally, Dana Air now accepts voucher payments online, enabled by Radixx’ robust Vouchers module.  By providing multiple payment options, the airline’s Web site allows greater reach for the airline and a much smoother and friendlier experience for the passenger.
