In addition to supporting direct sales via an airline’s call center, Radixx Air Enterprise supports a robust stand-alone or integrated Internet/Web Booking Engine tailored to the needs of consumers, travel trade and remote based airline personnel. Based on a carrier’s needs, there are multiple levels of Internet access that can be scripted depending upon a carrier’s selling and individual security requirements.
· Access to the core application modules for reservationists and managers to do bookings, make changes, view reports, manage inventory, and other standard functions is all done via the Internet. A standard PC can be used.
· Consumers can check availability, book online, select seats, and perform other typical web booking functions via the Internet. USA 3000
· Travel agents, corporations, or resellers can book directly over the Internet and completely bypass Global Distribution Systesm (GDSs) by booking on a variation of the multi-lingual web booking engine. DirectFly
· Since Radixx Air Enterprise uses web services in its middle tier, tour operators and other airlines that may need access to the database can easily incorporate real-time access to the Radixx database in their booking engines.
The web site is simple to use and displays availability and pricing together for multiple fare classes. The engine supports various optional functions like promotions, advanced seat assignment, web check in, fare shopper, net fares, multiple flights before and after the requested date and other advanced features. The site can optionally be configured to service agents based on their IATA (or pseudo-IATA) number, location, and currency. Agents may see different fares based on their location or currency or agreements with a carrier and high volume accounts may be given the ability to access all the functions of the reservations module over the Internet using the call center interface, but limits them to accessing those reservations and fares that are specific to their IATA number. The system stores all transactions and is supported by a full feature selling and commission reporting module.
