Utilizing an Internet-based DCS, Radixx simplifies the entire check-in process from start to finish by requiring only a computer and an Internet connection, meaning no dedicated lines or the expensive fees that come with them.
The Radixx DCS offers an extensive array of features including, but not limited to:
- Check in at a counter, receive a boarding pass and automated bag tag.
- Check in via a hand-held device.
- Assign seats and offer seats for purchase.
- Sell additional services.
- Alert Airport Agents of company news through Notices.
- Generate pre-departure and post-departure manifests.
- Change flight statuses to close boarding, close check-in and close a flight.
- View Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS) Information.
- Add and remove baggage and accept payment for excess baggage.
- View all Passenger Activity and history within a Passenger Name Record (PNR).
- View Frequent Flyer information.
- View and change a Passenger Status (active, checked-in, boarded, flying, flown, no show).
- Accept payment for PNRs with a balance due.
- Print IATA Standard Boarding Passes and Bag Tags.
Radixx uses commodity hardware for printers and bar code scanners which costs much less than specialized hardware. Airport agents can print bag tags and boarding passes to any supported printer. Agents can also scan bar codes on the boarding passes which update the Radixx DCS and Radixx Air systems as passengers arrive at the gate to be processed for the departing flight. This eases and speeds up the gate check-in process.
Common Use Environments / Third Party Ground Handlers
An airline may use Common Use Equipment at some, if not all, airports where flights are operated. For this reason, Radixx supports the following messaging with third party ground handlers:
- Outbound Passenger Name List (PNL) and Add/Delete List (ADL).
- Inbound Passenger Final Sales (PFS) and Passenger Reconcile List (PRL).
- Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM), Passenger Assisted List (PAL) and Change Assisted List (CAL).
Radixx Air Stations
The Radixx Air system offers a built in “Stations” module which performs similar functions as the Radixx DCS. All reservations will be updated through messaging or manually (based on airline preference) if a third party ground handler is utilized.
The Stations module includes a Dispatch section enabling agents to perform the following Flight Operations tasks:
- Adjust flight times.
- Enter maximum capacity for lap children, pets in hold, pets in cabin, unaccompanied minors.
- View delays and history associated with the delay, add delays, clear delays, view delay reasons.
- Assign aircraft by tail number, choose a seat configuration, block or unblock seats.
- Assign gates.
- Choose the flight status (NOOP, open, closed or cancelled).
- Cancel no show passengers.
- NOOP and cancel - allow for a free re-accommodation, moves passenger(s) to re-accommodation screen, once new flight is chosen, easily moves passenger(s) to new flight.
- And much more!
