Direct Booking Capabilities - Call Centers

Radixx has a very robust and full function module for call center reservations. The system uses a native graphical user interface (GUI) throughout. Since the interface was designed and refined over four generations of the product, ergonomics are refined to achieve high productivity, even for the entry level reservationists.

Radixx Air enhances productivity in multiple ways. A standard reservation can be entered in as little as thirty seconds or less. Flight availability, including one-way, round trip and multi-stop as well as fares are presented in a single screen display. Other systems use arcane commands that must be memorized or searched in a format guide and/or kept on scraps of paper. Radixx Air’s easy, intuitive interface uses full words together with point and click technology to provide a high productivity visual presentation so that agents can focus on selling instead of remembering commands.

Another benefit of Oracle’s real-time relational database can be experienced when an agent must book a second reservation for the same customer. Previous customer data can be instantly inserted into a new reservation, thereby saving time, data re-entry, and eliminating errors. Availably is stored for 331 days and flight details include aircraft type, stops and alternate times, days of the week with corresponding fares relative to those selections are displayed so agents can offer alternative itineraries without querying the system.

Radixx Air’s call center module provides a very significant reduction in training time. Traditional systems require two weeks or more of training plus periodic refresher courses. This means that hundreds or thousands of dollars must be invested in weeks of training before an agent takes even one reservation. With Radixx Air, an agent can become productive and generate revenue after less than a day of training.

Another benefit of Oracle’s real-time relational database can be experienced when an agent must book a second reservation for the same customer. Previous customer data can be instantly inserted into a new reservation, thereby saving time, data re-entry, and eliminating errors. The system provides for the assignment of seats in the Reservations as well as the Station Check in modules and handles free and chargeable Special Service Requests that are linked to both the passenger itinerary and segment.

Each and every passenger transactions is supported by a full Passenger Itinerary/Receipt that contains all flight, fare, payment and special services information as well as any special check in procedures and/or customer advisories as updated by the airline. Receipts can be printed, mailed, or E-mail to the customer or a travel agent. The system supports full multi language printing and generation of passenger receipts.

Every time a reservation changes, the change is recorded. Thus, the history of any reservation can be tracked as to who did what and when and can retrieve instantly when ever the need arises.

Security is provided throughout every module. Each user has a profile that indicates what they can and cannot access. Security is provided not only for access or no access, but also for “read only” or for “override” access.

Users can be attached to the Radixx Air host via a dial-up or faster connection to the Internet. Very good performance can be achieved over a 28.8kb dial-up line or a cellular connection to a good local Internet Service Provider. If your phone system can support automatic forwarding, reservation agents can even book from home.
