Radixx Air provides a full function system for low cost carriers with almost all of the functionality of a legacy system. The standard system is designed to support a ticketless, non-BSP, Internet based, standalone carrier. Optionally, Radixx Air can also be configured to have full connectivity with traditional distribution channels and can interconnect with virtually any host system in the world. It can also support travel agency ticketing via the GDSs, and other vestiges of the legacy business model. Thus, an airline is enabled to interoperate with or bypass any channel it chooses.
Radixx has also created a variety of enhancements to increase productivity and revenues while reducing costs. Radixx Air includes a very sophisticated vouchering system, an easy to use reaccommodation module, an unlimited number of payment types, an easy to use fares system, multi-currency support, inherent CRM functionality, and a true receivables capability for invoice payments and a host of other functions not typical in other systems.
Radixx Air supports multiple currencies. Currencies are selected based on rules, including the airport of origin.
The fares rules module easily handles advance purchase, round trip, minimum stay overs, passenger type and almost all rules in common use today. Radixx fare rules are extremely easy to use. When compared with other low cost systems, one fifth as many fare basis codes are needed to accomplish the same ends. This translates into significant labor savings and much easier fare management. Fare basis codes are assigned to markets and have virtually all of the rules for exceptions, penalties, refundability, etc. that would be used by a traditional carrier. Point of sale and promo code tracking are powerful optional functions of the system.
Radixx has extensive support for taxes. Any city or city pair can have virtually any type of tax. Taxes are automatically calculated. Tax reports are done as extracts to a .CSV file for easy payment to authorities.
Radixx Air presents the flight schedule, availability and fares simultaneously to agents on one screen. Not only is this much faster than traditional systems, in a single display it rapidly provides all of the information necessary for the agent to close a sale. In addition, alternate flight dates with availability and fares are displayed on the same screen at the same time.
With a click of a mouse, the agent can get a pop up of all the other fares with their availability and the fare rules.
