Great Lakes Airlines
Great Lakes is a regional carrier operating flights for many Interline and Codeshare partners. As part of the United (UA) / Continental (CO) merger, Great Lakes was affected by the migration and partnered with Radixx to ensure a smooth implementation of new technology requirements including an IATA Standard Option 1 Codeshare and the go live of Inter-Airline Through Check In (IATCI) – all for March 2012. Transat A.T. Inc.
Transat is a Canadian vertically integrated tour operator group. Its business is selling vacations, both inbound and outbound to Canada. Being vertically integrated means that it directly controls most of the elements of a vacation package. Its commercial environment is rather more complex than that of an airline or a simple tour operator as it must optimize the interests of the whole group. Transat approached Radixx with a need to manage inventory for all of its flights, Air Transat as well as those leased in from other carriers, in a centralized system that would allow the business to achieve the maximum possible benefit from its stock of seats. Read more on how Radixx provided solutions for Transat to improve the underlying technology and, in turn, greatly improving business.
